The Ministry of Labor and Rehabilitation of the Libyan Government issued Statement No. (2) for 2025, strongly condemning the suspension of the administrative system in its eastern and southern offices by the Ministry of Labor of the outgoing Government of National Unity.
The suspension followed the participation of these offices in an official meeting held in Derna, which addressed key issues related to training, labor organization, and employment.
The ministry described the move as political blackmail and an unjustified politicization of public services. It renewed its call for the reactivation of the Information and Documentation Center and urged the Attorney General to intervene immediately and hold those responsible accountable.
The ministry reaffirmed its commitment to serving citizens in areas under the authority of the legitimate Libyan Government.
