The Qatroun Martyrs’ Championship concluded under the directives of the General Commander of the Libyan Arab Armed Forces, Field Marshal Khalifa Abu Qasim Haftar, and under the supervision of the Chief of Staff of the Ground Forces, with the participation of 16 teams representing various ground units.
Al-Kateeba 611 emerged as champions after defeating Al-Kateeba 5 in the final match. The closing ceremony witnessed the honoring of the families of the martyrs and the wounded of the Qatroun battle, in an atmosphere marked by military discipline and a spirit of fair competition.
The event was attended by senior military leaders, including Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar and Commander Saddam Haftar, reflecting the leadership’s commitment to remembering the sacrifices of the nation’s heroes.
